Hi! It’s been a long time not posting a single blog. Lately i’ve been trying some recipes of tropical green smoothie using tropical fruits and spinach.
So, this is my favorite green smoothie recipe for 3 glasses serving:
-One big bowl of (fresh) spinach (you can use how many as you’d like, more is better in addition to make the color of the smoothie greener)
-5 frozen big size strawberries. (Other option of berries = Blueberries, blackberries, raspberries)
-5 frozen grapes.
-1 small size pineapple. (You can use as many as you want depends of how sweet your smoothie will taste)
-2 big size bananas. (It’ll make the texture of the smoothie creamy)
-1 big glass of green tea. (You can use water or any type of tea)
-1 big size cucumber. (You won’t taste it when it blended). And,
-1 apple of your choice.
-5 almonds. (It’s optional, you can use any kind of nuts to add protein)
Blend all the ingredients together! My trick is to blend the liquid and the colorful fruits first before the greens so you can see the color’s changing from pink to green.
Here are the finish product!
I put 4 almonds for accessories and a strawberry to make it looks fancy.
I still haven’t figured out why the smoothie separated into 2 different layers but it tastes great.
